If you know me at all, you probably think of me as the most humble person on God’s green earth. If that is what you believe, then congrats … you are correct. However, there are times when I just have to face the facts and let everyone know how much better I am than them.
If you were at church Sunday morning, you’d know that each young person (or table – as a group) made cards for Travis. What you don’t know is that nobody else received any cards from anyone. Oh wait … except for me … from multiple people. Who are these awesome people that made beautiful cards for me? Shout out time!!!!!

If you are one of the unfortunate people who didn’t get to attend Jon Evans’ birthday party, you really missed out.
Besides having to go out of your way to avoid food, trying to cram like 50 people together to take a picture, and running away from their odd dog-rat hybrid; you also got to miss out on what you secretly been wanting your whole life … watching Chris take a paddle to the backside.
I’m not sure how it started. I think we were just talking about how it would be funny to do and then the entire house started chanting his name so Chris basically didn’t have a choice in the matter. Either get spanked by Jon Bear or get beat by everyone else. Fortunately for you losers, we have a video for you to enjoy.

Easter weekend has come and gone, leaving us with memories of people overacting (or underacting) in the drama (I’m not naming names) and people sleeping on the job.
Thanks to my job as “video guy”, I could safely point the camera towards Ricky and snap a picture of the monitor from my perch atop the church balcony. Technically, this may have happened during a drama practice, but he was sleeping and he was in the church so he was fair game.
Oh, I’m not done quite yet. Here is one of the 12 disciples, as he turns the church into his personal bedroom for a few minutes.

In case you missed it, during youth class a couple of Wednesday nights ago, we pitted Nathan vs. Tony in a rather disgusting soggy twinkie/sardine-eating contest.
I really can’t begin to elaborate on how gross it was, other than how you could choke on the smell in that room and well … just watch the video.

It has been too long since I have gone out of my way to humiliate someone with a “Sleeper of the Week” award and yes, I’ve heard your cries for more.
I now present you with our latest victim, Mr. Mychael Monty. And you’re in for a treat cuz we’ve got three different pictures of him from yesterday’s service (thanks to myself and two other secret-agent photographers).
Congrats, Mychael … you shouldn’t have mouthed off to me in youth class a couple of Sundays ago! … “Mychael” … “Mychael” … (shake shake) … “I said congrats, man … now wake up, there’s an alter call going on”.

So, a couple of weeks ago during our table sessions, we were asked to think of a cartoon character that resembles (either in looks or personality) the person that was sitting to our left.
Obviously, this just gave our table a golden opportunity to make fun of each other without consequence. Emmanuel had the task of coming up with a character to describe me. He, unlike the rest of my evil table, is too kind to make fun of me so he passed. However, either Brit or Danielle (I can’t remember which one exactly, it was one of those hateful Williams girls though) quickly jumped in without even being asked and claimed that I reminded them of Dory, that half-retarded forgetful blue fish from Finding Nemo.
What?!?! In what way do I resemble Dory? Is it because I’m tall and skinny? Or do I forget half the things that people tell me? I don’t know, you tell me.
Fortunately, little miss Brit was sitting to my left so the obvious character that comes to mind for her is Pucca.
Now, if you don’t know who Pucca is (and you probably don’t … and don’t ask me how I know), she is this little girl (who happens to be part of some fingerless, midget species of human, as the picture shows) but she has this crush on some guy that hates her and she spends all of her time trying to chase him down and kiss him. Yes, that character suits Brit very well.
We ended our table session a little early that Sunday, so that gave us plenty of time to talk among ourselves and make fun of all of the other young people at the other tables. Did any of you guys come up with any good cartoon character/youth matches? Please tell.
